Timberland is one of the few manufacturers that takes this into account. Its Titan has all the features expected of a high-performance work boot and is specifically built with a women’s fit.

The upper is premium full-grain leather with a padded top collar. There’s a breathable, moisture-wicking liner to manage perspiration. No specifics are given for the insole, but feedback suggests a comfortable fit. A nylon shank is built in, providing torsional rigidity. It’s all supported on a rubber sole that is slip-, heat-, and abrasion-resistant, and also nonmarking. The Timberland women’s work boots have an alloy safety toe and offer EH protection. A men’s version of the Titan work boot is also available.
